Cezars Kitchen is an onsite food and beverage company that manages kitchens, cafeterias and cafes at schools, universities, office buildings, etc. We are running our business currently in Japan and Malaysia and now in the process of expanding our brand into Seoul, Korea. We are excitedly searching for a leader who will assist us with the growth and development of the Korea market. The Operations Manager (OM) is responsible for leading, challenging and coaching sales volume, for 4 to 10 accounts/locations, with the purpose of maximizing sales and profits, and maintaining consistent food & beverages with service quality level by working directly with the onsite chef and/or Café Manager and local kitchen/cafe team.

1. COMPANY VISION: Understand and deliver company’s vision and operational objectives. Ensure all staff adheres to and has knowledge of all company (SOP: Standard Operating Procedure) policies & procedures.

2. LEADERSHIP: Demonstrate superior leadership behaviors. Motivate team to be more successful and feel encouraged to support the direction of the company. Provide regular constructive performance feedback to Kitchen Managers and/or Café Managers.

3. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Demonstrate uncompromising customer service skills. Provide customer service to internal customers = staff. Represent Cezars Kitchen as a brand ambassador when supporting our external customers = students, faculty and staff.

4. WEEKLY SITE VISITS: On average, spend 60% of time visiting accounts. Support with service and ongoing development of food quality, a la carte menu, staff and customer care.

5. CATERING: Be present at all non-regular events, including night and weekend events. Support local team with all events that is catering to guests from other schools (EARCOS).

6. FINANCIAL RESULTS: Achieve quantitative objectives for your assigned region, including: sales growth of 5% annually, labor target of 25~30% or area and COGS at 30% on prepared food, 70% on packaged items for an aggregate of 40~45%. Review and approve monthly supplier costs “25th payment list” and P&Ls statements for locations.

7. DAY-TO-DAY OPERATIONS: Responsible for maintaining operational excellence in each account/location. Comfortable with working and training any position inside Cezars Kitchen/Café.  Provide value/support by working inside kitchen as needed. Your work schedule should be a balance of 60/40, onsite/office. 60% of your time, lending your physical support and 40% of energy focus on strategic support with building sales and improving the overall performance of your locations.

8. COMMUNICATION: Communicate all district issues, concerns, and needs to the appropriate Head Office person and work directly with the Director of Food Service to ensure fluid lines of communication and clarity.

9. RECRUITMENT: Oversee recruiting, hiring and training of all Café and Kitchen staff for your Region. Work with your Director for hiring and replacement of Manager position staff. Ensure each kitchen/cafe as the right amount of staff coverage at all times.

10. LABOR MANAGEMENT: Edit and approve all timecards for the accounts in which you oversee. This includes approving requests, such as vacation leave, for T&A solution.

11. INSPECTION: Conduct regular, monthly kitchen inspections for the accounts in which you oversee. Send inspections to Head Office.

12. PERFORMANCE REVIEWS: Conduct annual performance reviews for your district.
