Korea Productivity Center (KPC) is a government affiliated agency that provides consulting and training services to middle and large companies in South Korea. One of the major tasks of the Sustainability Management Center is publishing annual/sustainability reports. We are currently seeking a Bilingual (English/ Korean) intern to support our team with researching and editing.


What you can expect as a freelance editor

-You can enjoy the comfort of working at home and at your own pace as long as you can meet deadlines.

-A thorough training period and a set of guidelines will be provided in the initial phase.

-You will be paid per project (paid at the end of the month)

-You will receive 2-6 projects during the season depending on your dedication and skill level.

-You are expected to use your own tools to communicate with the team (PC, software programs like Microsoft Word, Google Drive, Zoom, Gmail, Slack)

-One project usually requires a commitment of about 4-5 hours per day for 3 days on average.

-If we believe that your end results are subpar even after the initial training and continued guidance, you may not be given any more tasks.

-Flexible schedule and availability from March to June and easy communication with the Chief Editor

-A mindset to treat projects as your own

-A drive to deliver accurate and factual information

-Meticulous attention to detail as well as the ability to comprehend big concepts

-Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple projects at once (very important)

-Professional attitude while collaborating with project managers and handling highly confidential information

-Strong time management skills even without supervision

-Quality assurance

What the freelance editor may gain

-You will have the opportunity to work directly with project managers and researchers in the sustainability management industry.

Qualifications and requirements

-Native level English (will not be considered if otherwise)

-Proficiency in Korean (ability to read and understand)

-University degree in English, Writing, Communications, Journalism, Business

-Previous experience in editing, translating or writing

-Knowledge of topics in various industries are beneficial (finance, engineering, food, logistics, sustainability etc.)
